Then he gets to the 13 minute 30 second mark and puts down for profit schools, as if there’s something wrong with the for-profit school or a for-profit anything ? Perhaps you need to study the history of nonprofits and her connection to the government, and then come back and redo this entire presentation. I stopped at that point.

If you want to train or have trained ai on my images (and i know you did) pay me! They are 400usd a piece on average and if you buy a thousand ill give you 50 bucks rebate.

I dont want cheap ai generated tat on my walls. I find art impressive because a human made it and it was hard to make. Its an expression of mastery and how they perceive beauty.

gAI images are basically DEAD / soulless things, it's something we ALL know subconsciously / superconsciously, and they attract naturally spiritually-dead people lol. personally, they wont convince me those can replace the originality of [ insert your fave artists, musicians, etc here ] they simply can't!

the 5,7k dislikes tell me that a lot of AI broski is sad about this information. another note on this whole subject the software developers of AI are getting pushed and pushed from project to project and they just can't keep up, they will burn out. so yea, if you are reading this pretty AI broski, better start learning how to code or draw to keep your precious art generators alive... or maybe work at an atomic reactor to generate enough power for these powerhouses these AI generators use.

Ok, so... it's been a year since this video was posted... and AI generated images are still a problem. In fact, I'd say the problem has gotten worse. There are hints of huge corporations (particularly in animation) using Ai as a cheap tactics to avoid effort, and the most annoying thing of all... real artists are being accused of using AI just because their style is kind of similar to the "ai artstyle". I don't know... if by another year this keeps happening, it will mean that your prediction was wrong.

AI art is just a bunch of trash being used.

The devil is selling these ai images to fools, “Oh , you’ll be able to create art just like a real artist! You’ll be a real artist and make lots of money and fame!” But then they’re left investing in a half-baked plagiarism machine and with no real skills gained or money or fame earned. You can’t get out of work, sorry tech bros

I can handle all of it, but the biggest problem (even more than the money) is unfortunately i disagree with what he said about "it's not gonna get you the admiration-" because the fact is... it IS doing that. Google "stuz0r" and he's a perfect example. A 100% talentless hack who is gaining tens of thousands of of followers every month encouraging the public what they see on his page "is my artistic vision" and not AI art shit. Which it 100% is. Just look and see the mountains of attention and praise as a "visionary creator" he's suckling up having done.. nothing. I'm going to have a beer and look forward to legislation, though i never thought i'd hear myself say that.

The layer thing is the only bad advice here. That only works if you're going painterly style stuff. For people like me and others that work on anime style stuff with more cell shaded, it just doesn't work.

Came here just to read some more positive comments to help keep up motivation and it never fails. Thank you so much for having this video here and for all the positive comments underneath that encourage real artists to keep on creating. I came here from one of Mohammed Agbadi's videos who admittedly didn't seem so optimistic about the current situation and I think he could do with some positive words and motivation to persevere with. It's easy to get down about the art community but it helps knowing there are so many positive people out there who appreciate real human-made art.

I always try to finish the important stuff first, as they usually take the most amount of time and energy, and then work my way down. The less important stuff I tend to skim on details. Hope this is helpful! Another great video Sean 😁👌

Great video and heavily agree with what is presented about quality and uniqueness. Just want to add some extra points as someone who commissions artwork and specifically stays away from AI art: 1. AI art is not competing with actual artist commissions. They are not competing for the $80 hobby artist commissions or the hundreds of dollars or thousands for amateur, professional or industry professional artists. AI art is competing with each other for the "$5 for 10 renders" - a commission fee so low that most artists I don't think would even bother. In a way, AI art helps filter out the people who would underpay for your services. 2. What I love about working with artists, is being able to say, "I like the picture but the armor joints don't make sense, could you change them to this, and remove the spikes?". "Or, I like the picture, but I want the lighting to be a bit more moody". Or, "this goblin is pretty cool, but he should be a bit taller", and the artist being able to make those changes promptly, or even live. Problem with AI art is that making such direct and specific changes is difficult and the tool ends up changing other parts of the image I don't want changed or not changing it at all. And some changes take longer to make than an actual artist doing it. Generally an AI artist has to, "get back to me on that" and then wants me to settle for whatever they have generated. 3. When you are creating a world, having the input of an experienced, and just as ambitious artist can help elevate your idea way beyond what you initially expected. I love having ideas for fantasy but an artist takes those ideas and my prompts/descriptions and adds a spin on it that ironically immerses me into my own idea. Not to mention artists can really help put your ideas into perspective if you are unsure of even your own idea. AI artists are unable to do that because the only thing that goes through most of their minds is, "that looks cool". Their standards are more their own standards and they rarely think of the standards of the one they are producing for.
